Friday, February 3rd - Sunday, February 5th - Winter at Valade Park, Motown Love Weekend: Love is in the aire at Valade Park this weekend! Shop with local vendors while you enjoy Motown sounds played by DJs all weekend. DJ Frank Raines will even be at the park for Funk Night on Saturday starting at 5 (a much earlier Funk Night than we are used to). There will also be a Love Letters to Detroit Open Mic event on Friday night. The fun takes place from 4-9 p.m. Friday, Noon - 9 p.m. Saturday, and Noon - 7 p.m. Sunday.
Friday, February 3rd - Midwinter Meltdown @ Lager House: Lager House has 4 great bands lined up for you this Friday night to help you snap out of those winter blues. The bill includes Macho, Killing Pixies, Girl Fight, and Deadsurf. $5 will get you in the door, the music starts at 9 p.m. and 18+ are welcome.
Friday, February 3rd - Prude Boys, Fen Fen, and more at Outer Limits Lounge: Friday night, Outer Limits is throwing a big birthday bash for Jamie which means a great show for you! The lineup includes Prude Boys, Fen Fen, Red Devil Dryvers, and the debut of a new band that we're sure everyone will be talking about soon, Wild Shape. DJs Alright and Mike Trombley will also be supplying the tunes throughout the evening. Doors open at 8 p.m., Wild Shape hits the stage at 9, and $10 gets you in the door.
