Friday, August 16th - Benefit for Tony Romeo @ Small's: Tony Romeo has been a huge part of the Detroit music scene for decades, whether he's on stage or working behind the scenes at your favorite venue. He has been through some really hard times lately and now he is having health issues on top of it all. To help him out, some of his friends are coming together to throw an awesome benefit show this Friday night, with proceeds going to Tony. Check out the schedule for the night:

There will also be raffles, including a Les Paul Standard from Detroit Guitar. Cover is a suggested donation of $20, but you can always donate more, and make sure you bring some cash for those raffles too! Friday, August 16th - Punk @ Flipside: Flipside Records is hosting another great show this Friday evening! This time around, the lineup includes Macho, Come Out Fighting, and The Lowcocks! Cover is a suggested donation of $10 and the music goes from 7-9 p.m. So, you can easily hit this one up before another show and start your night off right!
Friday, August 16th - Middle-Out @ The Lexington: Middle-Out returns to The Lexington this Friday night along with Bad Year and Grey Gardens. Cover is only $10 and the music starts at 8 p.m. Check out Middle-Out's self-titled LP that was released earlier this year here.
Friday, August 16th - UFO Bar Grand Opening: If you haven't heard, UFO Factory is now UFO Bar! The space is now owned by the same fine folks that own Spot Lite, and they are celebrating their Grand Opening this Friday night! The party will feature music from DJ Slugo, Sheefy Mcfly, Something Blue B2B Nick Speed, and AK. 21+ are welcome and $10 gets you in the door. The party goes from 6 p.m. - 2 a.m.
