Discovering More Than Just a Bar & Grill at Lincoln Yard in Birmingham

Photos: Lincoln Yard

Tucked away in Birmingham’s Rail District, Lincoln Yard might look like your standard bar and grill from the outside, but once you step inside, it’s clear that this spot is serving up something extra special. We headed over for a meal and were blown away by the food, drinks, and atmosphere.

First up, the cocktails were spot on. Whether you’re in the mood for something classic or adventurous, they’ve got you covered. But the real stars of the night? The food. We tried the vegan stuffed sweet potato and let me tell you—it was out of this world! It’s not often you find a vegan dish that’s not only hearty but packed with flavor like this one.
And we can’t forget the cornbread—moist, golden, and served with a salty, buttery spread that had us hooked everyone from the first bite. It’s comfort food at its finest but with a fresh, elevated twist.

While we didn’t try the pizza, we saw a few coming out of the kitchen and they looked massive and seriously delicious. We’ll definitely be back to get our hands on one of those next time.

The vibe inside Lincoln Yard is laid-back but cool, with a repurposed school bus garage setting that gives it a unique edge. The service was top-notch too, making the experience even better. You can tell the team takes pride in offering something more than just your average grill fare—everything was fresh, creative, and memorable.

If you’re more of a morning person, you’ll also want to check out Little Lincoln Yard, their breakfast spot right next door. It’s open 7 AM - 3 PM daily, serving breakfast all day long, which sounds like the perfect way to kick off any day in Birmingham.
