Experience Winter at Michigan Central Station

This holiday season, head to Michigan Central for a fun and unique shopping experience! Plus, it's a great excuse to check out this beautifully restored historic building!

Winter at The Station invites visitors to shop, savor, share, and make new memories at Michigan Central this holiday season. Happening now through December 28th, this event features beautiful lights outside, and shopping, music and art inside.

There are three different opportunities to shop in The Station, the first is The Shop. Here, you can find Michigan Central inspired clothing, gifts, and memorabilia, as well aso locally handmade goods from brands like Carhartt, Shinola, and more. There are even goodies from Bon Bon Bon available.

Next, step into Détroit Marché, curated by Trading Post and Gonzo World. This shopping experience features over 25 vendors selling everything from jewelry and clothing to lotions and perfumes. Some of the participating vendors include Factual Graphics, Halie & Co, Alchemy, and many more. These shops are spread throughout a room that also houses artifacts from the station's restoration process, adding even more to look at as you browse.

Last, but not least, Folk has a space of their own called Neighbor X Folk, featuring homewares, art, books, and all sorts of gifts.

While you're shopping, make sure you also stop by Yellow Light to grab a coffee or a hot chocolate and a donut. There are also concessions available near the art installation, me + you by Suchi Reddy.

In addition to shopping and sipping, Station visitors can also sign up for a guided tour, check out musical performances on Fridays & Saturdays, and watch screenings of feature films and concerts on the weekend too.

Michigan Central Station and its shops are open Tuesday - Saturday from 10 AM - 5 PM. On Saturdays, tickets are required, but they are free. On Friday nights, there is also a ticketed option in the evening, from 5 PM - 10 PM, with tickets costing $10. Get your tickets for Fridays or Saturdays and more info here

Winter at The Station is a great reason to head down and check out Michigan Central Station if you haven't yet! We guarantee you will be blown away by its beauty! If you did have the chance to visit during OPEN over the summer, this is a fun new way to experience The Station and see what's new!
